Dean Davis founded Granite Hill Equity in 2002. Previously, Mr. Davis was a partner with RFE Investment Partners, a private equity firm with invested and available capital of approximately $600 million. Mr. Davis led buyout and other financing activities in a wide range of middle-market manufacturing and service companies. He personally managed investment relationships and/or financing activities with numerous companies during his 14 years with RFE, serving as an active member on the boards of directors of ten portfolio companies. Prior to RFE, Mr. Davis was a member of the Corporate Finance Department of E.F. Hutton & Company, working in the Mergers & Acquisitions and Specialty Industries Groups. He began his career in finance as a corporate lending officer at Chase Manhattan Bank, N.A. Mr. Davis holds a B.B.A. from Southern Methodist University and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
